At Strobel Design Build, we strongly believe that the foundation for providing our clients with the utmost high quality in construction, design, and materials is based on the on-going education we promote to all of our employees. In addition to continuing education, we also promote engagement within our industry with other professionals. The collaboration between industry peers allows us to share and draw inspiration from one another, and ultimately, reaching the same goal of providing the highest customer confidence and satisfaction. Due to such ongoing innovation, education, and involvement within the design build industry, Mark Zdrojewski, our Vice President of Operations, was recently named one of 2016 Pro Remodeler’s 40 Under 40 award winners! We could not be more proud of Mark, and are incredibly honored to have him as part of our Strobel Design Build team and providing our clients with the best practices possible.
Just a few weeks ago, Mark traveled to Dallas, Texas where he attended Pro Remodelers Gen X-Change Under 40 Summit. It was at this prestigious summit where Mark, and the other 40 Under 40 honorees, were officially recognized. Hundreds of individuals within the remodeling industry are nominated each year for this award, meaning the selection committee faces a somewhat daunting task narrowing it down to only 40 industry professionals— “Competition was steep and every one of these 40 professionals represent the best of what remodeling has to offer today.” Pro Remodeler recognizes the 40 Under 40 winners as up-and comers in the industry, from a gamut of backgrounds. Since many of them do not know one another, in addition to honoring their achievements, the summit also provided an arena for the young professionals to share their best practices and unique expertise with their industry peers.
In Dallas, Mark was able to discuss Strobel Design Build’s unique Warranty Check-Up Program, which many in the remodeling industry may perceive as “…crazy and asking for trouble.” We are so confident in the quality of our design and craftsmanship, that we go above and beyond the minimum Florida one-year warranty. Our Strobel Design Build warranty is two years, and we additionally offer our clients with two check-ups within the warranty period. Don or Mark personally contacts all homeowners six months after completion and again after 18 months to arrange for a craftsman to complete thorough check in on the project. Though there are generally no major fixes during check-ups, they can at times result in minor fixes, such as a homeowner wanting cabinet adjustments or a particular door to operate differently. If there is a product issue, say with an appliance or countertop material, we will contact the manufacturer directly to expedite the process for our clients, even if the issue was not due to an error on our end. However, as Mark explained, keeping your customers’ satisfaction top priority and maintaining an on-going relationship with them has proven to be beneficial. By implementing this warranty program, we have completed as many as five projects for one client throughout the years!
Mark is also on the Board of Directors for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Tampa Bay Chapter as the Chairman of the Education Committee, and also on the Board of Directors for the Hillsborough Habitat for Humanity. Mark’s on-going education, innovation, and involvement within our industry and community have helped Strobel Design Build continue the foundation we so strongly work towards – the continual satisfaction of our clients.
