The new homeowners we contracted with asked to turn their home’s exterior into something more “tropical.” Indeed, the landscaping was quite ordinary and was not conducive to entertaining or having fun.
The project goals were to install a pool that sat felt continuous with the raised patio so that there could be interaction between the areas. In addition to adding a pool, the rear patio needed to be larger to accommodate a sitting area that felt spacious during the day and closed off to the insects at night. Surrounding the property with lush landscaping and walking paths gave the new homeowners the tropical retreat they have been hoping for.
