We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Punch Out Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing final construction tasks, making necessary repairs, and ensuring that all finishing touches are applied to projects before they are handed over to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform final inspections of the job site to identify punch list items that need attention.
– Execute repair work including drywall installation and repair, flooring installation, trim and molding work, and cabinetry.
– Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of punch list items.
– Ensure all work is completed to code and meets industry standards.
– Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
– Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns professionally.
– Schedule and manage tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a carpenter, particularly with punch out tasks.
– Proficient in using hand and power tools associated with carpentry.
– Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
– Excellent attention to detail and quality.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
