Junior Designer

Leading Design-Build firm seeking entry-level design assistant. Primary responsibility will be to assist the lead designer in daily tasks relating to the design package which will ultimately be delivered to the client. This position is a hybrid, with a combination of office and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to make selections
  • Administrative organization of web-based design-build platform, BuilderTrend
  • Draft tile drawings, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, etc., using design software such as CAD, 2020, and SketchUp
  • Work with project coordinator to assemble permit packages for submission to municipalities
  • Assist in assembling design packages under the direction of the lead designer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design
  • Experience using design software such as SketchUp, CAD, 2020, etc.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign
  • Experience drafting tile drawings, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, etc.
  • Familiarity with FEMA building codes
  • Knowledge of current design and architecture trends
  • Patience and personality to work with clients and a team effectively

Compensation & Benefits

  • $30,000–$50,000 annual salary; direct deposit every Friday
