The winning project was part of a whole house remodel of a 1920’s bungalow located on the bayou within the National Historic District of St.
Petersburg, FL. Consistent attention to period detail maintained the bungalow’s historic style while providing an expansive use of functional space.

Judges from Women’s Day Magazine, Southern Living and Houseplans.com chose this year’s winners. The entries were judged on overall design, the overall use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.
