LEAD-SAFE EPAThis firm is a RRP (Renovation, Repair and Painting rule) firm. As of April 22, 2010, federal law requires that: Contractors that are hired to perform renovations, repairs or painting in homes built before 1978, to be certified lead procedures and to follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination. According to EPA guidelines this will include bagging of demolition debris, hazard suits being worn by employees and subcontractors, enclosed and sealed demolition areas and monitoring and documentation by a certified "lead" specialist and certified "lead demolition" firm. |
